What started as student curiosity grew into a thriving STEM program. By listening to their interests and giving them real-world tools, Jordan created a classroom where students take ownership, solve problems, and achieve more than they thought possible.
What began with the excitement of talking to an astronaut grew into a lasting amateur radio program. Jackie used Ham Radio Prep for Schools to give her students approachable lessons, visual instruction, quizzes, and exam preparation support. Across two licensing projects, she reports that 85 students earned their amateur radio licenses. Today, older students are advancing through the license classes and mentoring younger classmates.
