As a Ham Radio Expert at HamRadioPrep, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our ham radio educational content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and depth of information. You will be responsible for providing expert insights, answering user questions, and contributing to the overall quality and credibility of our platform. Responsibilities:

• Content Development and Review:
  • Develop high-quality and comprehensive study materials, lessons, and practice exams for ham radio license preparation.
  • Appear on film in instructional videos as an ambassador to help educate and inspire amateur radio operators.
  • Review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current ham radio regulations and best practices.
  • Provide expert insights, technical explanations, and real-world examples to enhance the educational value of our content.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging and effective learning experiences for our users.
• User Support and Engagement:
  • Answer user questions, provide guidance, and offer technical assistance related to ham radio licensing and operation.
  • Engage with users through online forums, community platforms, and social media to foster a supportive and interactive learning environment.
  • Stay updated on industry news, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to provide relevant and up-to-date information to our users.
• Quality Assurance and Feedback:
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits of our content and platform to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for content improvements, new features, and enhancements to the user experience.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues or bugs related to ham radio content and features.
• Ham Radio Community Engagement:
  • Act as a representative of HamRadioPrep in the ham radio community, attending events, conferences, and forums to promote our platform and establish partnerships.
  • Contribute to ham radio publications, blogs, or podcasts as a subject matter expert.
  • Participate in ham radio-related discussions, forums, and social media groups to share insights and engage with the community.

Qualifications:

• An advanced ham radio license (General Class or equivalent) is required.
• Extensive experience and expertise in the field of ham radio, including knowledge of regulations, operating procedures, equipment, and emerging technologies.
• Proven experience in developing educational content or teaching in the ham radio field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Passion for helping others learn and succeed in their ham radio license journey.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
