Materials You Need for The Course:
To truly get the most out of this class, you need two things:
1) Your FCC Technician License (learn more here)
2) A Baofeng UV-5R, Yaesu FT-65R, or another handheld ham radio.
We will use a Baofeng radio and Yaesu radio in our programming examples, but the same concepts apply to any handheld you want to use. If you haven’t purchased your handheld yet – that is okay! We will discuss the top handhelds in the course.
